Engage. Our project talks about the Flower Festival, the reality of continuing our living culture and tradition, of passing on the beauty of the Panagbenga Festival as citizens of Baguio and as responsible students, becomes real and achievable through this project. We engage by exposing ourselves to the community through the interviews we have conducted with the people involved in order to gather information and revealing what the people do not know about the festival. By doing this, we engage in advocating the festival not only to our own community but also to other places. We engage ourselves in the society that we have grown up in and we open ourselves to the endless facts and information that we have failed to notice.
Unite. In our city, the locals work together to make the festival successful. The whole city exerts time and effort for the celebration. Based on the success of this year’s Panagbenga, the festival was victorious in bringing the whole community together by allowing the citizens to contribute to it. As for our team, this project would not have been successful without the efforts and contributions of each member. We unite in a way that every suggestion given by each of us would serve as a guide in order to have better ideas that soon results in a successful project. This project is a way to showcase the unity Baguio City showed to make this festival a memorable one. This project demonstrates the constant need for us to become social in order to achieve success, this project has opened our hearts and has helped us recognize the fact that in order for our endeavor to become something that helps our community to prosper, we needed to know that we can rely on each other, we needed the assurance that through our hardships, we will always have each other to count on.
